What is community supported agriculture?

Community supported agriculture (CSA) directly connects farmers and consumers by allowing anyone to buy a seasonal share of a farm's harvest, no weeding necessary! You subscribe for a season (usually 3 months) at a time, and then you pick up or have the farm deliver your weekly share of the harvest. CSAs can be a bit unpredictable --you never know quite what you will get each week-- but the produce is guaranteed to be the best and freshest available. Best of all, you know exactly where and how your food was grown.
